Sketching a boat skeleton

Brittany is a peninsula situated in the northwestern tip of France. Rich with Celtic heritage, the Breton countryside, with quaint little fishing villages and long granite-strewn beaches, makes a paradise for sketchers.

Lodging will be at the “Chambre d’Hôte de Keraret,” a rustic old farmhouse situated on the estuary of the Trieux River near Plougrescant, a fishing village three miles north of Treguier. You can take long walks in the "chemins des douaniers" along the estuary, passing coves and white sand beaches to the island-dotted sea.

Meals will consist of hearty breakfasts and Elizabeth’s exquisite dinners served with wine and cider and prepared with farm fresh produce and local seafood.

Cost: $2400 includes ten day workshop, lodging (double occupancy), breakfast and nine dinners, and excursions. Lunches will be bought at local markets. Airfare and transportation to and from Guingamp are not included. Transportation will be provided between Guingamp and Plougrescant. Non-participants will pay $200 less, but must still reserve their place with a $500 deposit.
